About Me

Operated under the professional alias Moderator or "Mod" Eterna for anonymity purposes to manage logistics and community engagement for large-scale international projects, ensuring privacy while coordinating shipments to 1,000+ recipients.From 2019 to 2023, I managed logistics and operations for 11 independent publishing projects, including 4 simultaneous in 2020, coordinating over 550 contributors worldwide and shipping to 100+ countries.As the lead shipping and vendor coordinator, I ensured smooth fulfillment for large-scale projects, working closely with finance specialists to oversee an estimated $500,000+ in overall project budgets.My expertise includes vendor management, scheduling, international shipping logistics, compliance coordination, and multi-project operations management. What is a "Zine"?

A zine (short for “magazine” or “fanzine”) is a small-circulation, often independent publication created by individuals or communities to share specialized content, art, and ideas. Zines serve as a platform for creative expression, storytelling, and niche interests outside mainstream media. A zine moderator oversees the coordination and communication among contributors and project stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and timely progress. This role involves managing submissions, resolving conflicts, maintaining community standards, and facilitating logistics for content production and distribution.Acting as a key liaison, a zine moderator balances creative vision with operational efficiency, ensuring that projects meet deadlines and quality standards in a fast-paced, volunteer-driven environment.
Typically, projects take 1 to 2 years to complete; however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, shipping timelines extended up to 3 years due to fluctuating international health guidelines and shipping restrictions. Managing these projects required staying constantly informed of global health news to adjust logistics accordingly.In my work, I managed both profit and nonprofit zines, overseeing all aspects of production and distribution, including contributor coordination, vendor relations, shipping logistics, budgeting, and compliance. This experience required strong project management skills and adaptability to meet diverse operational needs.
